Thomas spent 6 full months in 2017 in the #ISS (International Space Station) for the ESA – European Space Agency. And 2 successful missions in space outside the ISS! Unique for a “rookie”! He is such a great performer that he might be selected to go to the #Moon and #Mars…. soon!
Amazing part of the story, Jeannette Epps, a very close friend of mine at the University of Maryland in 1994 (aerodynamics Master classes), became a NASA Astronaut. And she has been training with Thomas during submarine missions to prepare the ISS spacewalks. Life is full of great synchronicities!
As members of a #SpaceTeam, these highly selected profiles spend so much time of training together in tough conditions, that they become a very strong collective, able to rely on each other continuously. Their life in space and the integrity of their fragile spaceship depend entirely on each other.
No ego driven, no judgement, no tension, flow, pure pleasure, and a real efficient tribe in space using extensive procedures about absolutely anything.
